A Taste of Rain

Just fot back from Bagkok. To be honest I never felt any tiredness on the whole trip only contentment and pure excitement. Image hosting by Photobucket I enjoyed every minute I watched the concert and to think I have watched the same concert over and over again (thru videos of course). Nothing can compare with watching Rain perform live. Others may say I am exaggerating but all I can say is who cares, this is my blog and I can say whatever I want to say in this blog. No one can perform like Rain, he's a good singer and dancer. His charisma to his audience is unmatched and even he sang off-key on the first night I dont mind. Give the guy a break, even though he is not feeling well, he still did his best to give out the best performance. Just goes to show he is human like any of us, he also needs rest so please stop following him even for a few days. He needs to recover and the only way he can do that is to have some peace and quiet.

During the two (2) day concert, all I can remember is how I met so many BIers and was able to make friends as well. My special thanks to Mai and Cherry who helped us, RainPhilippine members, when we were in Bangkok. Image hosting by Photobucket Words cannot express our thanks to our new found chinggus for the assistance and the accomodating our request no matter how simple or complicated they are. Hope we can see you again on the next Rain concert and if ever you come to the Philippines, please allow me to be your host. Again, Image hosting by Photobucket

I will give a detailed account on my RAINy Day experience in my next visit. I am still updating so many backlogs that I cannot do it one sitting. Image hosting by Photobucket

The Trip to Bangkok

Image hosting by Photobucket I am right now preparing myself to go to Bangkok. Excited is the first feeling that comes to my mind but for some reason or another, I am also getting cold feet and feeling butterflies in my stomach. Dont ask me why right now coz' I dont have any answer either. I will be meeting with 2 Rain Fans also in Bangkok, Cherry and Mai, and this is something that I am looking forward to this trip. New experience, new friends, new memories to store in my heart or maybe the chance to get over my "FEAR". The Voltes Team knows about this fear and I just hope that everything will be okay when I get to Bangkok. But girls, believe me when I say, granting I will be given that million chance to be the girlfriend for the night, I really have to say "ANIYO". Mian hae but this girl is not yet ready for that kind of plunge.

I will see Rain for the first time and its a new experience for me to be travelling somewhere outside my country just to watch an artist who caught my attention so much. Its kinda embarrasing on my part to be doing this since the guy is almost 19 years my junior. Jeong Jihun (aka Rain/BI) caught my interest so much, I even created a blog all dedicated to him. Its not much of a blog if you compare it with other blogs but I try as much as possible to post everything there is to know about the guy.

He caught my attention when I saw him doing one of his act in his concert, and come to think about it, I just dont think about the dance when I watched it. Something else played on my mind and its weird that someone like Rain would do this to me. The rest is history so to speak because since then I kept tract of his carreer, everything I hear and read about him, I post it to my blog. Todate I have two (2) main blog sites just for Rain one of which has several pages which includes his profile, life story, lyrics of his songs - from Album 1, Bad Guy to the latest - Sad Tango, MTVs and pictures which I also downloaded from various web sites.

I hope I also get the chance to see Rain's dancers and even take their pictures. There's one particular dancer in Rain's group who also caught my attention, I named him Tram. Tram, as I call him, was actually the decoy of Bi during his concerts. He's also a good dancer and I heard just like Orange girl, he's also friendly to Rain' s fans. Just the chance to take their pictures with me on it will be good enough for me. At least I get the chance to have the next best thing in this whole trip, the chance to get close to Rain even through his dancers.

Last Friday, the Voltes Team + Laser sword had a grand time, as always, talking and exchanging different jokes and insights. No particular topic but the whole idea about the get together was to take time out with the daily routines and just have a good time with the rest of the group. I enjoy our get togethers and we even eat at Minsuk, a Korean Resto somewhere in Burgos, and even the ajuma at the resto knows when someone is already missing in the group (obvoius ba na we are already a regular customer in here place). After the resto food trip we go to Starbucks at Rockwell to have coffee and continue with our discussion session. We talk and have a good time until the wee hours of the morning until its time for us to go home.

I hope I will bring back good memories and interesting stories to tell the group once I get back to reality. It would be good to comeback with beautiful memories from this trip, it will make the V Team's get together more interesting.

Reflections Of Self

When we look at other people, we see many of their qualities in innumerable and seemingly random combinations. However, the qualities that we see in the people around us are directly related to the traits that exist in us. "Like attracts like" is one of the spiritual laws of the universe. We attract individuals into our lives that mirror who we are. Those you feel drawn to reflect your inner self back at you, and you act as a mirror for them. Simply put, when you look at others, you will likely see what exists in you. When you see beauty, divinity, sweetness, or light in the soul of another, you are seeing the goodness that resides in your soul. When you see traits in others that evoke feelings of anger, annoyance, or hatred, you may be seeing reflected back at you those parts of yourself that you have disowned or do not like.

Because we are all mirrors for each other, looking at the people in your life can tell you a lot about yourself. Who you are can be laid bare to you through what you see in others. It is easy to see the traits you do not like in others. It is much more difficult to realize that you possess those same traits. Often, the habits, attitudes, and behaviors of others are closely linked to our unconscious and unresolved issues.

When you come into contact with someone you admire, search your soul for similarly admirable traits. Likewise, when you meet someone exhibiting traits that you dislike, accept that you are looking at your reflection. Looking at yourself through your perception of others can be a humbling and eye-opening experience. You can also cultivate in you the traits and behaviors that you do like. Be loving and respectful to all people, and you will attract individuals that will love and respect you back. Nurture compassion and empathy and let the goodness you see in others be your mirror.

SAY IT NOW

If you have a tender message
Or a loving word to say,
Don't wait till you forget it,
But whisper it today!

The tender words unspoken,
The letter never sent,
The long forgotten messages,
The wealth of love unspent

For these some hearts are breaking,
For these some loved ones wait,
Then give them what they are needing,
Before it is too late!
