Surviving Changes

Its been quite a while since i did some personal, hmmmmmmmmmmmm, whatever in this blog. I am in hibernation mode this past few weeks and right now everything is quiet in my life.

So many things changed, so many people moved and I particularly is one of those few who find themselves experiencing these changes and movement. Its true that its hard to accept changes sometimes, most dont even want to move on after a dramatic change. If I begin to site instances in my life that brought about so many changes and even movements, I will tell myself, is it worth the effort to even try to make a difference. Dont get me wrong, I am not in any way having a problems or whatever in my life right now. Let's just say I learned how to let go things that I have no control of.

Getting confused with that I am blabbering about, well, as I said I am in my hibernation mood right now. I just write what pops into my head nowadays. It may not sound much to anybody but with the way things are, right now with me, the only one who would really understand what I am saying is that someone who knew me well.
Talk to you all soon and God Bless.

JUST ENOUGH

Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure.

Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said, "I love you and I wish you enough".

The daughter replied, "Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom".

They kissed and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me in by asking, "Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?".

Yes, I have," I replied. "Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?".

"I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - the next trip back will be for my funeral," she said.

"When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough'. May I ask what that means?".

She began to smile. "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone". She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more. "When we said , 'I wish you enough', we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them". Then turning toward me, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

She then began to cry and walked away.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them but then an entire life to forget them.

* Only if you wish to remeber the person who meant so much to you, if only you will never forget and remember to give back to the person the goodness showered on your way. If you don't say how much you appreciate the goodness anyone had done, it may mean that you are in such a hurry that you have forgotten your friends.

TAKE TIME TO LIVE.....

To all my friends and loved ones, I WISH YOU ENOUGH!!! Have a great day!

Warren Buffet World's 2nd Richest Man

There was a one-hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity.

Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:

1) He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.

2) He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha , that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

3) He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.

4) He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.

5) His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.

6) He has given his CEOs only two rules. Rule number 1: do not lose any of your shareholder' s money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

7) He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time, after he gets home, is to make himself some pop corn and watch television.

8) Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half an hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates
became a devotee of Warren Buffet.

9) Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.

10) His advice to young people: Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself. Remember money doesn't create man but it is the man who creates money.

Live your life as simple as you are.

Don't do what others say, just listen to them , but do what you feel good.

Don't go on brand names, just wear those things in which you feel comfortable in.

Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on what you really need

A JOBLESS MAN

A jobless man applied for the position of "office boy" at Microsoft. The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.

"You are employed" he said. "Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.

The man replied "But I don't have a computer, neither an email".
"I'm sorry", said the HR manager. If you don't have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job."

The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate. He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times, and returned home with $60. The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled every day.
Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US . He started to plan his family's future, and decided to have a life insurance. He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email.

The man replied, "I don't have an email."

The broker answered curiously, "You don't have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an e mail?!!"

The man thought for a while and replied, "Yes, I'd be an office boy at Microsoft!"

Moral of the story
M1 - Internet is not the solution to your life.
M2 - If you don't have internet, and work hard and smart, you can be a millionaire.
M3- If you received this message by email, you are closer to being an office boy/girl, than a millionaire...

P.S - Do not forward this email back to me, I am closing my email & going to sell tomatoes!!!

Have a great day...!

Psalm 23 - Explained

The Lord is my Shepherd
That's Relationship!

I shall not want
That's Supply!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
That's Rest!

He leadeth me beside the still waters.
That's Refreshment!

He restoreth my soul
That's Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness.
That's Guidance!

For His name sake
That's Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
That's Testing!

I will fear no evil.
That's Protection!

For Thou art with me
That's Faithfulness!

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me,
That's Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
That's Hope!

Thou anointest my head with oil,
That's Consecration!

My cup runneth over.
That's Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
That's Blessing!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord.
That's Security!

Forever
That's Eternity!
