I love this song. It had became a favorite of mine when the first time I heard it. I was asking myself why this song has an impact on me when I dont even understand the lyrics let along the english translation of it. The song has striked a beat in my heart and I like how I feel about it.

I remember a song sand by David Gates with the same title which I also love to sing. I changed the title then from Midnight Girl to Midnight Boy and promised myself to sing it to whoever will be my special someone in life. It was the last quarter of my college life when this song became popular. True enough after five years, I was singing this song to James. I always get a good bear hug from him whenever he hears me sing the song. He just lets me change some lyrics in the song because as he said he is no longer just a dream but a reality.
Now after almost so may years, I hear another song with the same theme only this time the song is in korean, sang this time by Shinhwa. I am enjoying listening to the song especially when I hear Minwoo sing the song. The feeling is different when I listen to the song and now I want to learn the korean lyrics and the english translation of it. I got what I want and I am now trying to learn the song.

Yeah, its true that its only in one's dream that the kind of love exist. A very nice feeling of being and falling in love. A safe kind of love where hurt is non-existent because we are able to mold the kind of love we want to have through that dream. And if such love only exist in a dream, all I want to say is, I wish I never wake up again. So I say to myself, if its still possible for me to do, DREAM on girl at least at night in your dreams you are happy with the one you love........

i am gonna summerise it

During the concert, a few problems arise. First, during his solo stage, Kim Dongwna went off tune while singing X-JAPAN "tears". When the song hits its climax, the audience were all quiet and waited nervously for dongwan to hit the high notes, as dongwan voice was not his normal voice and he pull thus it went off tune. Dongwan knows he went off key and felt bad but the fans screams and encouragement gave him the strength to finish the performance and he thanked the fans for the encouragment.

the other problem is Eric. On the stage while saying his speech, he was stuck a t a few words and cant continue on. But the members used their charm to cover up the little mistake which shows just how professional they are.

After the concert, one fan commented " seeing both Shinhwa in person and their charm they posed, i really like it" "this time, there were lots ofs different stage" and added that she has high hope on their activies in Japan.

Shinhwa" We will be shoiwing a different side when doing our solo stage. So we hope fans will look forward to it. We hope to stage a concert in Japan again next year"

Age, the Least Important Thing in Love

The number of younger-man-older-woman couples has been on the rise recently. A recent survey shows that the number of married couples with wives older than the husbands--which stood at just 8.7 percent a decade ago--grew to 12.2 percent last year. As a matter of fact, any negative perception of couples with younger men and older women disappeared quite some time ago.

The results of a survey conducted by a matchmaking firm attest to significant changes in public perception: more than 49 percent of 1,000 polled single women nationwide said they would want to marry a man who is younger than they are, and more than 53 percent of the surveyed men liked the idea of marrying an older woman. Slightly less than half of respondents cited an age difference of two to three years as the ideal age difference between a younger husband and an older wife. As for reasons for marrying a younger man, about 40 percent of women cited their desire to maintain equality in their marital relationship, followed by the desire to stay young ( 29.9 percent), a longer economically active period for younger husbands (19.1 percent), and marital harmony (6.4 percent).

Why younger men and older women?

Mass media have cited the following reasons behind the growing number of couples with younger men and older women: women's tendency to get married late in life as a result of their constantly improving social status; changes in young people's perception of the roles of the sexes; and the onset of the so-called "new matriarch society." Another factor behind the phenomenon is the growing importance of good looks and well-shaped bodies. Experts say older women strive to look comparable to and even younger than their younger male partners.

Women prefer younger men these days because younger men recognize women's economic power, make them feel younger and engender a stronger sense of accomplishment by stimulating their maternal instinct, better understand even their reckless behavior, and can stay economically active longer than their older counterparts. On the other hand, men's preference for older women keeps growing because older women are less demanding and create a more comfortable relationship, are easily approachable sexually, and help men to grow up.

Celebrities lead the trend

The showbiz world has been at the forefront of reflecting such social changes through TV shows, movies, song lyrics and TV commercials, with the latter using the younger-guy-older-girl theme particularly widely these days. Since CJ's popular TV commercial featuring its brand "Enjoy the Rice Day," which showed a young man complimenting an older female college student, a myriad of TV commercials featuring older women and younger men have appeared for products ranging from mobile phones to beverages and cosmetics. Men are increasingly shedding their previous image of "cute guys" and transforming into "younger men who act like older brothers."

The theme of younger-men-older-women has become commonplace on TV shows and big-screen movies portraying love relationships between older women and younger men, and it is sometimes portrayed in a comic or heart-moving way. It has also emerged as an effective marketing tool in show business. The dance song "A Dream of Older Sister" by singer/actress Hyun Young gained enormous popularity among listeners this year for expressing a woman's desire to receive a confession of love from a younger man. "You're my woman, I say you're my woman" -- a line from singer Lee Seung-ki's touching song about a younger man's love for an older woman -- has even become a theme song of younger-man-older-woman couples.

One out of every eight couples that have tied the knot since 2005 comprises an older wife and younger husband. The era of "older brothers" becoming husbands is shifting to an era of "older sisters" becoming wives. Experts say that younger-man-older-woman couples add diversity and fun to marital life, and the number of such couples will continue to grow due to women's growing presence in society and their rising economic power.

BACK FROM THE CONCERT

Hi peeps! miss posting these past few days. Had a grand time watching the Shinhwa Concert in Singapore. Will post the pictures and vids I got from the concert ASAP. It was such a thrill seeing all the 6 perform on stage. Although Eric was not feeling well, the rest of the group made sure that Eric will not overdo his act.

You should have seen Andy, he's so cute. Sorry, I cant say handsome, coz he really looks so cute. He will always be a baby to me. Junjin was so energetic as compared to his performace in Seoul, this is according to some fans who watch Shinhwa concert in Seoul. He improved alot in terms of his singing but you cant beat the energy he exerted to do his number. No wonder many fans shifted to to Junjin after the concert. I salute DongWan in singing Once in a Lifetime in nnglish. Hye Sung was surprised when he heard DOng Wan sing in english. I appreciated Dong Wan's effort, I am one of those who cheered on him so loud when he did his english part. Hye sung as always did his piece well especially his stunt, boy he can really kick. Minwoo was not to be left out, he always charms the fans by saying how beautiful they are.

Charity, Charity's sister and I together with our Singaporean Friend, Virgie Tam, watched the concert and we were all mesmerized after the show. We all became solid fans of the Shinhwa stars each admired. After the concert, Cha and I went out to take one last look at the hotel were Shinhwa stayed. We have no intention of stalking the guys, sorry but we just dont have the guts to do just that, besides we dont want to piss them off.

My message to The Voltes people, thanks guys for the effort. I know you worry a lot about me these past few weeks. When Cha told me what you did, I literally broke down. Cant thank you enough for the effort you exerted. Whether there's a response or none at all, I still appreciated what you did. Would have been great if it happened but knowing you went out of your way just to make me happy tops it all. Again, thanks a bunch. Love you guys so much.

Thank you so much for the company. You were so nice going out of your way just to be with us during our stay in Singapore. MCA to release Rain's Eternal Rain Album in the Philippines

Announcement to all Philippine BIers:
