I find it very gracious of him to apologize. I don't think he own anyone an explanation or an apology but for him to take that step, I applaud him for it.

Feel the same way. Don't think he need to apologize. Liked you guys say, he is only human so can't expect him to do everything and be everywhere for everyone.
